A Cracking Cricket Week

It's been a cracking week for cricket at the College. The girls traveled to Queenstown on Wednesday to take on Wakatipu and after posting 131 had a tough loss from the last ball of the game! Amber Cunningham notched up 81 runs, Katelyn Walton took 2 wickets and Jocelyn Fellowes picked up 1 for 17 off her 4 overs. Well done girls!

The Year 9 and 10 boys played 20/20 games against Waitaki Boys' this week. Year 9s lost by just 15 runs: WBHS 130 for 8 (Ben Kay and Jacob Tait got 2 wickets each), SKC 115 for 3 (Harry Murphy 27 and Ben Kay 54 not out)

Year 10s beat their counterparts by 7 wickets: WBHS 109 for 4 (Jacob Fowler taking 2 of those wickets), SKC 112 for 3 (Padraig Reilly 30, Isaac Clunie 25 and Lachlan Brookes 26 not out).
