Top Class Result From Nelson

What an amazing week for our Netball girls!   And the trophy they held yesterday has some SKC history interwoven into it's own as a message from Kate Mihaere reveals ... beginning with the year that the girls first walked through the school gates as Kevinians!

"It's been an amazing week. My sister Maree represented SKC in 1983 in Nelson playing to get out of B Grade (for the first time ever) and her team which had Donna Hurst in it, won B Grade so this is extra special. We have our name on the trophy again in 1991 and will get it engraved 25 years later for 2016. Laura Dowling and Molly Kay were both named in the tournament team for B Grade. Laura Dowling captained the girls and was nothing short of inspirational. We started our campaign with Church on Sunday in Richmond and before each warmup the girls would sit on the court and say a prayer, this was lead by Tivinia. As a group they upheld our college FIRE values in every way and will take away some incredible memories. Warmest regards Kate Mihaere"
Our girls and their local support team from WGHS.  Huge thumbs up!
